Salary is something everyone is curious to know. As a certified math tutor how much I earned and how much you can expect I will share in detail. Before going in detail let me clarify there is no fixed salary for teachers.
Payment given to teachers vary with number of classes taken and number of demos attended and successfully completed. Also the rates of such classes are different for different subject.
If you teach English then hourly rate must be lower when compared with someone teaching Mathematics. Usually tough learning subjects have higher pay and common language subjects, academic subject have little lower hourly pay.
Regular Pay
Teachers at Turito receive salary in two components viz. regular classes hourly pay and contract pay as per demos completed. I will show you how these components given in the salary slip. Let me share one of my payment slip from June 2022.
In this payment slip you will notice US contract payment is only 250 and regular 27 sessions pay as per Rs 400/hr. is 10800.
Demo Pay
Turito Contract also mention demo payment rates for successful demo done and number of demo attended to get students enrollment. In May 2022, I earned Rs 1450 the break up of US contract payment is given below
This demo class payment has various terms of pay based on time and expected availability. You can clearly see the charges paid to me for the demos done during mid night time and morning time.
You will find demo payment terms in your contract after you successfully register and onboard as teacher.
